Serena Williams

Serena Williams was born in Saginaw, Michigan to Richard Williams and Oracene Price. Serena Williams is of African American heritage and is the youngest of Oracene's five daughters: half-sisters Yetunde (died September 14, 2003), Lyndrea and Isha Price, and older sister Venus. Her mother raised her five daughters as members of the Jehovah's Witnesses religious group. When the children were young, the family moved to the Los Angeles suburb of Compton, where Serena Williams started playing tennis at the age of four. Her father home-schooled Williams and her sister Venus. To this end, Serena Williams was and remains coached by both her parents.

Halle Berry

Halle Berry graduated from Bedford High School, afterward working in the children's department at Higbee's Department store. Halle Berry then studied at Cuyahoga Community College. In the 1980s, Halle Berry entered several beauty contests, winning Miss Teen All-American in 1985 and Miss Ohio USA in 1986. Halle Berry was the 1986 Miss USA first runner-up to Christy Fichtner of Texas. In the Miss USA 1986 pageant interview competition, Halle Berry said she hoped to become an entertainer or to have something to do with the media. Her interview was awarded the highest score by the judges. Halle Berry was the first African-American Miss World entrant in 1986, where she finished sixth and Trinidad and Tobago's Giselle Laronde was crowned Miss World.

Diane Lane

Timothy Hutton, Christopher Atkins, Matt Dillon were among the actors Diane Lane dated during the 1980s, and later rock star Jon Bon Jovi. Diane Lane was married to Christopher Lambert, and they had a daughter, Eleanor Jasmine Lambert. The couple were divorced following a prolonged separation in 1994, and Diane Lane married actor Josh Brolin on August 15, 2004.

As of late 2007, Britney Spears has sold over 85 million albums worldwide. Britney Spears is currently the fifth best-selling artist act of the decade in the country, as well as the top-selling female album artist.
